Positive-pressure airflow helps keep contaminated air away from the breathing zone while reducing the breathing resistance associated with tight-fitting masks. The elastic-seal design can accommodate beard wearers and eyewear.

The Softhood does not filter contaminants on its own. Use it with the Optrel e3000X PAPR Blower Kit or an appropriate compatible supplied-air system and hose configuration.
Protection
Softhood provides respiratory and face coverage only when connected to the appropriate positive-pressure air source. Choose the air system and hose configuration for the intended work environment and follow the applicable system instructions.
