Overview
The Bullard AC1000 cools incoming compressed breathing air before it reaches a compatible supplied-air respirator, helping make hot work conditions more manageable.
- Cool-only climate control: Designed for compressed supplied-air sources where cooler breathing air can improve wearer comfort.
- Rugged construction: Bullard uses a metal housing designed for demanding industrial environments.
- Multiple connection options: Select the quick-disconnect fitting and material required by the approved respirator and airline configuration.
- Separate body-cooling option: AC1000DC is used with the DC70 cooling vest and is not a respiratory-air configuration.
For respiratory use, supply clean, breathable Grade D air or better and operate within the pressure range specified for the approved Bullard respirator configuration. Use only the Bullard breathing tube and air-supply hose approved for that setup. Bullard does not recommend cooling incoming air below 70°F because further cooling can allow ice to form in the breathing tube and reduce airflow.
