Bullard 88VX Abrasive Blasting Respirator with Clean Air Box

The Bullard 88VX Clean Air Box package is for sites that already have a suitable compressed breathing-air supply and want the respirator, air filtration, carbon monoxide monitoring and cooling equipment together. It combines an 88VX3230 respirator with a 15 cfm Clean Air Box, AC1000 cooling and 25 ft of breathing-air hose.

What this package adds

• 88VX protection: APF 1,000 loose-fitting respirator helmet with no individual fit testing required.
• Three-stage filtration: helps remove water, oil, particles, oil vapor and odors from the incoming air.
• Continuous CO monitoring: audible and visual alarms warn when carbon monoxide reaches the selected alarm threshold.
• Wearer cooling: AC1000 cools the supplied air before it reaches the wearer.

Choose the CO alarm threshold

Choose 10 ppm or 5 ppm to match the alarm setpoint required for the site. The rest of the 88VX package remains the same.

Before you buy

• Requires an existing suitable compressed breathing-air source.
• The Clean Air Box filters and monitors the incoming air. It does not make an unsafe air source safe.
• The Clean Air Box does not remove carbon monoxide. The monitor warns when CO reaches the selected alarm threshold.
• The incoming air supply and complete setup must meet Grade D breathing-air and Bullard pressure requirements.
• The 88VX face shield provides high-impact face protection but does not replace required safety glasses or goggles.
• Do not use in IDLH atmospheres or where oxygen is below 19.5%.
