Overview

The BL1 balaclava uses warm thermal fleece with mesh panels across the breathing area. Its hinged design lets you move between fuller face coverage and a lower neck covering as conditions change.

Fit and compatibility

One size fits most. Wear it beneath compatible Pyramex ANSI-compliant hard hats and safety helmets, but not beneath SL Sleek Shell models. The fleece is described as self-extinguishing, but the BL1 is a non-rated product; do not substitute it for rated flame-resistant head or face PPE.
