Ariat Men's Outpace Static Dissipative Composite Toe Work Shoe

The Ariat Outpace SD is a men's composite toe work shoe with static dissipative (SD 35) protection, which protects against the hazards of static build-up in the workplace. It is not an electrical hazard (EH) shoe. Built for indoor work and long shifts on hard floors, it has an oil- and slip-resisting Duratread sole, and Ariat rates it ASTM F2413 I/C SD 35 SR.

What the ASTM rating means

• I/C The toe cap is tested for impact and compression protection.
• SD 35 Static dissipative footwear reduces static build-up. It is not protection against electric shock.
• SR Meets ASTM safety standards for slip resistance.

Fit and sizing

Men's sizes 7 to 12 in half sizes, plus 13 and 14, in Medium (D) or Wide (EE). Available in Charcoal. Women's equivalent is 1.5 sizes up: a men's 7 is a women's 8.5.

Good to know

The flat-bottom sole gives broad contact for stability, but Ariat does not recommend it for ladder use.
